A big thanks to the moderators of c/Europe doing their best to keep this community clean and open to all. I appreciate the work you do.
“Business as usual with Turkey cannot continue.” That was the message MEPs sent when they voted on a report about Turkey’s EU accession process on May 7 in Strasbourg. Amid a crackdown on President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s political rivals as well as on protesters, MEPs said that EU membership talks with Turkey cannot be restarted in the current circumstances. At the same time, the European Union does not want to shut the door on Turkey completely, as Ankara remains a significant partner within NATO and its interests overlap with the EU’s in Ukraine.
So how should the EU stand up for human rights while still pursuing some form of realpolitik? We debate that question with our panel of MEPs in Strasbourg.
She was just convicted. Read up on the PPE high priority lane. How many convictions there?
Some dick pics from grinder from years ago that someone saved to use later. But the scandal isn’t that, but the fact that he didn’t mention this in the interview. For a job at that level you can’t keep such things to yourself.
I think you can trust France24 about as much as SR.

There are people out there that actually believe this to be the case.
Apparently sales are up in Norway by about 11% for April.
Do you enjoy dark and cold weather?
OSM is a wonderful project and something I support.
Help out by mapping your local area with the StreetComplete app. It’s like PokemonGo, but actually helpful.
Not sure what that is, but the place I’m going to later today has a common toilet for both sexes. Sinks and bins are common, then there are lockable booths. Works well enough, at least for me as a CIS man.
To me it seems that the Pope met with JD Vance for 5 minutes and then lost his will to live.
Give me 150% money back if I, or any of my family, are refused entry and I’ll think about it. Not before that.
Why can’t you have both? Create the best value for customers, but you have to adhere to these regulations.
Seems like a perfectly reasonable position to me.
Look back at my posting history. There’s no shortage of bad or dumb comments. But also a lot of good ones. I tend to focus on those. Well reasoned responses, even if they don’t agree, I read and engage with.
Huh? You’ve posted one article and a few comments are a bit weird, so now you’re leaving?
Is this your first day on the Internet?
It was a good link, keep going. We need more people posting about economy matters.
Strange. Just tested it again and it works for me, despite all the uBlock and PrivacyBadgers I have enabled. (;
Regarding the last point, I thought it was relevant since migration is an issue that defines a lot of what’s going in in the EU/Europe as of late, but feel free to remove it if you think it’s appropriate. I don’t think you’re very heavy handed in your moderation, and I’ll still keep posting things that I believe are relevant and interesting to share.
I’m sorry man.
