It’s still her responsibility to make sure her kid uses the internet responsibly. I don’t have any desire to defend chaterbate (never used it, and don’t know much about it) but there are tons of harmful sites out there, forums, places like 4chan and 8chan which are likely even more damaging than some porn sites.

It isn’t the site’s responsibility to make sure you aren’t lying when you claim you’re over 18, unless you want every site to have all of your personal data.

USian here… Iirc we’re losing a ton of water on the West side of the country due to farms in California, and one of the biggest culprits is almonds. Boycotting American almonds may end up being good for the US as well, since our ruling class is too stupid to stop themselves.

I’m reading this on my 8" Onn right now … (I normally use a fold but my screen finally failed, and I like having a large screen for reading, be it books, manga/manhwa, or Lemmy). I used to be into flashing a while back but I haven’t bothered recently. I agree it’s a good idea, but it’s low on my current list of stuff I need to get done. (Like moving from Windows to Linux on my main pc).

Edit I do have the Amazon one also, but explaining why I bought the Onn when I already have a Fire HD 8 is just going to make me look worse…
